Born in April 26, 1564, William Shakespeare was one of eight brothers and sisters. Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, a small country town located in England. William was the oldest child of Mary Arden and John Shakespeare. He married Anne Hathaway at the age of 18 and they had three children together. Their oldest was named Susanna and then they had twins, Hamnet and Judith. William Shakespeare soon became a popular dramatist, English poet, and actor. By far one of his most well-known works of art is Romeo and Juliet. Other famous writings of Shakespeare include Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, Henry V, and Julius Ceasers. William Shakespeare died April 23, 1616 but is still remembered today as one of the best poets ever.
